Designed by Barozzi Veiga, the Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts Lausanne stands as a monolithic 145-meter-long brick wall that transforms an abandoned railway district into the heart of Lausanne's new cultural quarter. The museum's distinctive ridged facade references the site's industrial heritage while creating a sophisticated urban backdrop. The preserved arched window from a 19th-century train depot becomes the building's focal point, structuring the interior sequence of spaces around a soaring foyer that floods the galleries with carefully controlled natural light.

由巴罗齐·维加设计的洛桑州立美术馆，是一座长达145米的单体砖墙建筑，将废弃的铁路区域转变为洛桑新文化区的核心。这座获得国际竞赛一等奖的建筑作品，巧妙地回应了场地的工业记忆——美术馆独特的竖向肌理立面呼应了场地的工业遗产，同时营造出精致的城市背景。建筑师保留了19世纪火车库的拱形窗户，使其成为建筑的视觉焦点，围绕着高耸的门厅构建室内空间序列。这座"有人居住的墙"精确地分隔了工业世界与新的公共空间，为Platform 10艺术区奠定了基调，成为洛桑文化复兴的重要标志。建筑的锯齿状天窗为展厅引入精心控制的自然光线，营造出理想的艺术展示环境。
