This quote captures the unique spirit of the Insel Hombroich museum, conceived around the motto "Art in parallel with Nature." The individual pavilions, designed by artist Erwin Heerich, are minimalist walk-in sculptures of reclaimed brick. These structures are scattered across the landscape, serving as neutral containers for art and allowing visitors to experience art, architecture, and nature as an integrated whole.
