Conceived by architect Mario Botta, this modern religious building is made of reinforced concrete. Its powerful quadrangular form is clad in Verona red marble, giving it a monolithic presence. The interior consists of a single hall detailed with the same red marble, wood, and steel. The entire structure is oriented to face the 18th-century church of San Alessandro Martire, establishing a direct dialogue between modern and historical architecture.
